We were in the new house and I noticed that the ladybug that I've found there yesterday was still in the same place I left her. Today I decided to take the camera and this was the result. This is the first time I am able to shoot such a beautiful creature.

Many thanks to the ones that left the critiques. In my "defense" about getting all the ladybug in focus... it was extremely hard for me to take this picture because I wasn't using a tripod, there was wind, and I was grabbing the leaf with my left hand while taking the shot with the right hand. Your critiques are much appreciated, as I still have A LOT to learn.

I think this is a wonderful photo,the spots, the drops to the little hairs on the plant, its a wonderful macro shot. I love it.The one thing I would say a little negative to this photo would be I wish that the head of the Ladybug was clear. that Would of been really nice to see the entire photo Clear. Other than that is a wonderful photo. Keep up the good work. I will def. be checking out more of your thing in the future. I hope to see more photos such as this. Hope you like my critique and maybe the next macro will have more clarity of the entire photo so I can give you 5 stars all the way down.

What a clear and stunning shot. The detail is phenomenal on this, and the color is top notch! I love the water droplets on her too. I think next time however you should use a tighter aperture to keep all of the ladybug in focus. Also, the composition is a little bit weird; I think that if you kept the ladybug in the middle of the picture that would have given a stronger composition. The detail on the leaf is to die for. Also, there is a little too much noise; try running the photo through noise ninja or another such program (I'd be happy to do it for you). Fantastic!
