How are you all? It's been a while since I write anything here but let me confess that I'm not having much patience to post on "social-networks" lately.
Work is busy, I have a project to deliver in 10 days and I'm freaking out because I haven't coded or designed in a lot of time and I'm feeling very rusty and out of ideas. Tomorrow I'll have to work really hard to at least think about what I'm going to do.
Weather here is still weird... it's going to rain today and last Sunday I couldn't even breathe because of the hot weather. I don't get it, never will.
I'm pretty pissed off about the governments new measures... our Christmas bonus was now hit but a new tax, so we won't get the full money, taxes will increase next year, specially the one that forces you to pay for your own house (the IMI one). I was tremendously pissed off when I knew how much we will pay in 2 years. To make things worse, I used to spend my Christmas bonus on my car (the insurance and the annual revision) and now... the money will not cover the expenses because I need new breaks and those are expensive. As far as the insurance goes I will cancel it (I had full insurance) and will get a cheaper one that only covers problems with other cars (if I hit another car). *sigh*
It's becoming more difficult and more frustrating to live in this country. Government is spending oceans of money on things that are unnecessary and in the end it's us who have to pay the bill... they just don't care how bad this is, they just want us to give them money and that's it.
Oh well... I'm glad I bought the Canon G12 now. Managed to sell the Canon 40D and tomorrow I will meet a person to sell the Canon 60mm + tube extension. I am losing money but it's better to have someone using the material I am not using anymore.
Did you hear about Canon 135mm f2 L lens? I watched a video review and this is supposed to be the sharpest, fastest and incredible lens of all L series. I was stunned when I saw the picture that puppy takes with a Canon 5D MkII. For those who are wondering if this will be my next purchase, the answer is no.
I already have the 100mm L lens, why would I want a weird 135mm? Besides, I am done with spending money with photography for the next years. We really need to save a lot of money if we want to survive this stupid crisis. I hate this country. Wish I could move to Finland or Norway or England or Germany or even better... Japan.
