How are you all? What have you been up to? Vacations???? Tell me all about it before I die of boredom.
Soooo here everything is pretty much calm. Been busy with work as usual, just finished cleaning the house and spent the entire day yesterday defrosting the freezer... I tell you... hellish and devilish task! HATES IT.
Weather is still a bit weird... it rains a bit during the morning and in the afternoon the sun decides to show up and it gets hot. I'm still trying to understand the weather but I think I will give up very very soon.
Good deeds
Last week I've received an email from an animal association saying that they didn't have enough food to feed the 450 animals. I panicked (this association takes care of animals that are abused, ran over and left to die, and stuff like that) so I decided to join forces with a colleague and together we've collected money to buy the food for the dogs.
Since the association was also struggling with vet bills in the end we just transferred the money to their account. The good news was that Royal Canin was willing to donate 500kg of food if the association purchased 150EUR in dog food. And so we decided to buy the food. Royal Canin can now send the food to them and the animals will not starve!
I was happy!!! Very happy to be able to help so many animals at once. Since I cannot have another one (food and medical expenses are just too much and I already have my 2 dogs) this was a good way to help them out.
